🦋 Why Grow Native Plants?

Native plants are the foundation of local ecosystems. They evolved alongside regional insects, birds, and pollinators over thousands of years — creating relationships that non-native species simply can't replicate. A single mature native tree can support hundreds of caterpillar species, which in turn feed nesting songbirds.

Planting natives means less watering, fewer pesticides, and more wildlife activity in your yard. It also helps combat habitat loss across the broader region — even small yards contribute to ecological corridors when planted thoughtfully.
